help out a noob =D

Recommended Posts

hey guys,

i have a 180sx running on standard turbo with aftermarket full turbo back exhaust and FMIC...

I'm planning on getting a t28 turbo to replace it with the standard t25.

now i heard you need to modify an elbow? or get a reclocking kit..

is it hard to modify ? and what needs to be modified?

or easier to get a reclocking kit but can't find anyone in Sydney that stocks them?

and what gaskets would i need to get?

i want to do the swap ASAP as my turbo atm is on its way out...

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Imo any t28 type turbo can be used on a s13 redtop if you use a "clocking adapter kit" i fitted a hks gtrs using them with no prior experience of turbo swaps it made it sooo damn easy.

google image search: t28 turbo clocking adapter and see what you need plus the t28 turbo oil drain and your set. I currently have a set of clocking adapters ready for me to take pictures of and sell :-)

Honestly, I paid more than Gktech are selling them for......and I am at least a week away from getting photo's of mine....gktech are the best bang for buck you will find....http://www.gktech.co...ter-plates.html

btw according to google that IS a s15 ball bearing turbo. if its in good condition, buy it.
